No Despair, No end to the world on 21st December 2012

The Mayans, one of the tribes of the ancient people of Mesoamerica, had three different Calendar systems to measure time the 365 day Solar year, the 260 day Ritual year and the 5126 years of World Time calendar. Of these, the first two were known as Short Count calendar and the last one was known as the Long Count calendar. The latter Mayan calendar ends on the Gregorian calendar date of December 21, 2012, which most people believe is the end of civilization as we know it. Many theories have sprung up about this end-date, popularly called Doomsday, ranging from the religious to the scientific, to the natural to the astronomical.

The majority of the Doomsday theories have religious backgrounds. The Bible talks of the Judgment Day, which will occur as a result of wrath of God. The Apostle John, the last of the Jesus’ original 12 disciples, has written in the Book of Revelations (New Testament) about the end of the world. The Book of Revelations is a divinely inspired prophecy, predominantly concerned with events preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. John’s vision reveals that before Christ returns, humanity will suffer devastating wars, disease, pandemics, religious strife and famine on a global scale.

Perhaps taking a cue from Apostle John, the16th Century’s seer Nostradamus predicted the rise of Anti-christ in July 1999, followed by a period of bloody wars that will decimate the Earth. According to Nostradamus, this Anti-christ will rise from the Middle East and his first triumph would be over New York, ultimately leading to World War III. Many people may be inclined to believe that Nostrtadamus’s prediction has come to be true after 9/11, when Twin Towers of World Trade Centre in New York were destroyed in terrorist attack on 11 September 2001. But has the World War III started? The answer is a clearly No. However, the prophesies of Nostradamus have led to a flurry of Doomsday predictions, ostensibly because a media hype has been created about his predictions, especially the belief that almost all his predictions have come true.

Next, we will see what is Islam’s take on this. Like Christianity, Islam also believes in Doomsday or Qayamat. When qayamat comes, “Mountains will be razed to the ground, floods shall engulf the planet. All of humanity including the dead, will be called forth. The good shall go to Jannat (heaven) and the evil to Jahannum (hell). Earth will be no more”, according to a Islamic scholar. At this time, the Muslim’s “Last Prophet” will appear to lead all the Faithful in a thirty-year battle against Satan’s army, according to another Islamic scholar.

According to Hinduism also, there will be some big devastation at the end of the Kali-yuga and the world will witness the emergence of 10th incarnation of Vishnu (one of the Trinity that rules the Hindu pantheon of gods):Kalki, the ruthless decimator of evil. Thus we see that all major religions of the world are nearly unanimous that this world will come to an end at some point of time or the other and there will emerge some Messiah sent by God, who will redeem humanity of its sins. However, there is no unanimity among them, regarding timing of this cataclysmic event. Let us see their view points in this regard.

Although Christians believe in the Theory of Doomsday, but the Bible clearly warns of the groundlessness of the specific predictions, as they are contrary to Biblical Canon because, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father” (Mathew 24:36). Similarly, Islam believes in Qayamat but so far as timing is concerned, it would like to refrain from putting a specific date. “We do not try to predict any date for qayamat. Only Allah is aware of that time”, according to a Delhi based Islamic scholar. According to Vedic scriptures of the Hindus, the world goes through over and over again in different cycles. These cycles repeat, just like every year we have four seasons. The cycles of seasons repeat over and over again. Similarly the cycle of the four Yugas also repeats over and over again.

These four Yugas are:
  • Satya Yuga : the Golden Age, lasting 1,728,000 years.
  • Treta Yuga : the Silver Age, lasting 1,296,000 years.
  • Dvapara Yuga : the Bronze Age, lasting 864,000 years; and finally
  • Kali Yuga : Kali Yuga-the Iron Age of machines lasting 432,000 years.
But we have just started the Kali Yuga and so far we have only passed 5,000 years of it. This means that Kali Yuga still has another 427,000 years to run.

Some have also predicted that massive natural upheavals such as earthquakes, hurricane, volcanic eruptions, flood, draughts and the like will occur, resulting in destruction of a major part of life on the Earth. It would appear that prophecies of natural disasters have perhaps the strongest factual back-up. According to a writer, “Every year, about half a million earthquakes rattle the Earth. The majority of these are rarely felt, but when a major quake hits, entire cities and hundreds of thousands of lives may hang in balance”. We have seen it happening in our times with greater frequencies.

Astronomers believe that life on the Earth may come to an end, because of some adverse planetary alignments, which will cause a gravitational pull on the Sun and the Earth, leading to tidal changes, floods, earthquakes and perhaps shifting of the planet’s axis. And in a matter of hours, the Alps, Andes, Rockies and Himalayas may vanish from the map of the world. Some prophets of doomsday in 2012 claim that a planet called Planet X will collide with or pass by Earth in that year. This idea has appeared in various forms since1995, but the Earth is still safe!

Some other theories behind the supposed doomsday in 2012 :
Earth being hit by an asteroid, as it probably happened some 65 million years ago, resulting in extinction of dinosaurs from the Earth; a high intensity radiation affecting life on Earth caused by a Super Solar flare; invasion by aliens from the outer space; a nuclear holocaust happening in the event of a nuclear war etc. Some disaster and horror films have also been made based on the Doomsday in 2012 phenomenon, which may have made inroads in the minds of commonplace people and generated a sort of fear psychosis among them.

Coming back to the Mayan Calendar again. The Mayans, as already stated in the beginning, had three different Calendar systems to measure time- the Solar year, the Ritual year and the World Time calendar. The Mayans also believed, as did the others, in cyclic nature of time i.e. when one Solar Year calendar ended, another started; similarly for the Ritual Year calendar. However, the Long Count calendar of 5126 years meant for measuring world events must have appeared to the ancient Mayans too long a period to feel any necessity to go beyond this. This does not mean the world will come to an end on Dec 21, 2012, as Doomsday prophets would like us to believe. This simply means that another cycle of Long Count Calendar will start, as happens in the case of Mayans Short Count calendars.

Having discussed the numerous theories behind the Doomsday Prophecy in 2012, now we will examine the astrological factors to reach any meaningful conclusion. Planetary position on this day at GMT has been shown in the chart below: The Lagna is Virgo, an Earthy sign, its lord Mercury is in the 3rd house in the Watery sign Scorpio with malefic Rahu aspected by Ketu, another malefic planet. As many as four planets- Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Rahu are in watery signs. Three planets-Mars, Jupiter and Ketu are in Earthy signs. Jupiter is retrograde and is in enemy camp, house of Venus and is with Ketu. 9th lord Venus is in the 3rd, again in inimical sign Scorpio ruled by Mars. Luminaries, the Sun and the Moon are getting malefic aspects of Saturn and Rahu respectively. The Sun in the 4th gets aspected by its staunch enemy Saturn (3rd aspect), indicating peace on Earth might get disturbed, because of some turbulent events. Another point worth noticing is that there have occurred six eclipses in the year 2011-four Solar and two Lunar. This is a rare phenomenon. The impact of these Solar eclipses will continue to be felt in the years to come. Also, the last Solar eclipse of 2012 will fall on 13 November 2012 in Libra, a Airy sign and the last Lunar eclipse will occur on 28 November 2012 in Earthy sign Taurus. Thus the combined effect of these eclipses may come before the world in the form of massive earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, wild forest-fires and other earth-shaking events, resulting in loss of lives on the Earth on a large scale. Thus there is a possibility that some catastrophic events might take place on or around 21 Dec 2012 in some parts of the world. But does that mean that the world will come to an end?

                          So far, we have discussed only the negatives features of the Chart. Let us see the positive and redeeming features of it. The Lagna is aspected by Vargottam Jupiter from the 9th house. It not only casts its benign aspect on the Lagna, but also on the 9th lord Venus. Mars is not only exalted but also Vargottam in the Earthy sign Capricorn, whose lord Saturn is exalted in Libra. In Navamsa Chart, Saturn is occupying Aquarius lagna, its Mool Trikona sign. Saturn, as we know, is significator of longevity, so the Lagna is well fortified. 9th lord Venus is posited in its Mool Trikona sign Libra, which is excellent. The Sun and Jupiter are occupying Taurus, a Fixed sign, in the 4th house. Similarly Moon is posited in a Fixed sign, Scorpio in the 10th house, whose lord Mars is both exalted and Vargottam. All these indicate amply and clearly that the World is not going to come to an end on 21 Dec. 2012 as the entire race of Homo - Sapiens is not going to be wiped out any time so soon. It has many many years to go, before any cataclysmic event takes place. Hence, there should be no room for apprehension and despair in the minds of people regarding this date. In fact, it may become the harbinger of a new understanding, a new consciousness, a new awakening, when a realization will dawn on the people and their nations that they should co-operate and collaborate more with each other, exercise tolerance and feel connected in order to have peaceful co-existence on the earth rather than an attitude of one-upmanship and belligerence as is seen today.

    Possibly it may touch 23500/6750.
    The day-to-day predictions will be published in the monthly issues of EST for the respective month. Here we have predicted the monthly, overall trend of the market, monthwise.
     
    JANUARY 2012 :
    Major planetary changes of the month are, Mars will be retrograde for 81 days from 24th January 2012 and Mercury will set in East for 34 days from 18th January. Exchange of Saturn and Venus is the main cause of Bull trend of the month. There is also a possibility of Bottom Out of market during the month.

    Solar ingress chart of the Capricorn of 15th January, 2012 indicates a Bull trend. Opening day of the New Year will see Bull but market will decline from the second day of the year. Market will bounce back from 5th. 2nd week of the month will remain Bull. 3rd week of the month will remain weak, but market will bounce back in 4th week and will remain Bull to the last day of the month. Banking, information technology, hotel, jewellry, diamond, sugar, PSU, telecommunication engineering, metal will rise.
     
    FEBRUARY 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are, retrogression of Saturn from 7th February 2012. Both malefic planets Mars and Saturn will turn retrograde for 67 days from 07th February 2012 to 14th April 2012. Solar ingress to Aquarius on 13th February, 2012 indicates a heavy volatile and Bear month. During the first 10 days of the month, market will show uptrend but will decline from 14th. During the month, power, coal, metal, iron, steel, machinery and bank will improve, while Information technology, telecommunication, electric electronic, sectors will decline.
     
    MARCH 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are, Mercury will retrograde from 12th and will set in West on 15th and will rise in East on 30th. It will retrograde for 16 days, which indicates a Heavy rise in the market. Entry of Jupiter in Leo Navamsa also indicates a Bull trend. Solar ingress chart of Pisces of 14th March, 2012 indicates a Bull trend. First five days of the month will remain Bear, but market will recover from the 6th day of the month and will give good return to the buyers. Bank, telecommunication, glass, tyre, rubber, watch, heavy machinery, aviation, infrastructure, housing, fertilizer and PSU will improve.
     
    APRIL 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are: Mercury will become Direct from 4th and Mars will from 14th, while Pluto will retrograde from 10th. Solar ingress chart of Aries on 14th indicates Bull trend. Market will remain heavy volatile and decline from 16th to 20th, but will bounce back from 23rd. Information technology, telecommunication, railway, tourism, aviation, navigation, chemical, heavy machinery, fertilizer, glass, tyre, rubber and watches will improve. Overall a Bull month. Buy at each fall.
     
    MAY 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are: retrograde Saturn transits in Virgo from 16th, Venus will also retrograde from 15th, Mercury will set in East on 14th May, 2012 and will rise in the West on 6th June, 2012 for 22 days. Solar ingress chart of Taurus indicates dual trend. First 2 weeks of the month indicates Bull trend, but 3rd week of the month will remain dual and volatile, while last week of the month will rise. Bank, sugar, power, paper, information technology, metal, auto, cement fertilizer, telecommunication, rubber, tyre will rise.
     
    JUNE 2012 :
    During the month major planetary changes are: Neptune will retrograde from 5th, Saturn will become Direct from 25th, Venus will set in West from 2nd and will rise on East on 11th. Solar ingress chart of Gemini on 14th indicates heavy volatility and decline. Conjunction of Sun and Mercury in Taurus and Gemini gives heavy volatility. Market will try to remain in the hands of Bulls but will decline from 16th onwards. A heavy volatile month. Investors are requested to be cautious from 16th. If market will start declining, please sell out all your holdings, because some planetary combinations will be the same as happened before 2218 days. During that period, the 21 trading days, NSE index was declined by 877.75 points, while BSE index was declined by 2844.20 points. Steel, cement, auto, information technology, PSU, pharma, banking power will decline.
     
    JULY 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are: retrogression of Uranus on 13th and Mercury from 15th. Mercury will set in the West from 18th July to 6th August for 19 days. Solar ingress chart of Cancer of 16th indicates dual trend. Mercury and Sun in Cancer will try to improve the market. Market will remain heavily decline from 17th to 20th July, but will bounce back from 23rd to 28th. Pharma, electric, electronic, information technology, bank, tyre, rubber, glass, tea, coffee, food product, infrastructure and tobacco will decline.
     
    AUGUST 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are: Mercury will move in Direct motion from 8th August, 2012 and will rise in the East on 5th August. It will again set in the East on 31st August for 31 days. Saturn will re-enter in Libra from 4th. Solar ingress chart of Leo indicates that market will remain in the hands of Bears. There is a possibility of heavy downfall or lower circuit during the month, but market will try to improve from 20th and once again it will boom from 27th. Bank, fertilizer, information technology, pharma, auto, tobacco, tea, coffee, food product, milk product, iron, steel, cement will decline upto 20th, but improve from 21st onwards.
     
    SEPTEMBER 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary change is that Pluto will move in Direct motion from 18th. Solar ingress chart of Virgo indicates that market will remain in the hands of Bull till 12th September. From 12th September to 28th September, it will move in dual trends and from 28th September, it will decline. Bank, pharma, sugar, telecommunication, fertilizer, information technology, auto, cement will improve.
     
    OCTOBER 2012 :
    During the month, major planetary changes are: Jupiter will retrograde on 4th, Saturn will set in the West on 10th and Mercury will rise in West on 1st October, 2012. Solar ingress chart of Libra of 17th indicates Bull trend. Market will move in the hands of Bulls till 26th October, 2012 and will decline from 26th onwards. PSU, pharma, iron, steel, coffee, tea, tobacco, Information technology, bank, diamond, jewellry, hotel, sugar will rise. View half moon(Nelavanka) and Venus(Shukra) together on 26th Jan 2012 in Hyd before 8:54pm on Nyruthi disha.Show the coin(3rd Kalasha Pooja's Raksha kavacha) to Moon and Shukra and get it activated

On Feb 3rd (Friday) activate the white cloth with triangle(4th Kalasha pooja) by showing it to the Lord Sun(Ravi)just first 1 to  2 hrs after sunrise.or 5th Feb(Sunday)

NOTE: People who have missed to activate raksha kavach(coin) on 26th Jan 2012 by showing the coin to the Nelavanka(half moon) and Shukra(Venus) can do the same by showing it to Lord Ravi(Sun)
On 30th Jan 2012 (Monday), Ratha sapthami day morning after sunrise till mid afternoon(12:00pm) show the coin to the Lord Sun

Who all can do this kalasha pooja:

1) People who have done 1st , 2nd and 3rd kalasha pooja can do 4th kalasha pooja on 28th Jan 2012.If failed to do on 28th Jan can do the 4th Kalasha Pooja on 14th March.

2) People who have done 1st and 2nd but didn't not do the 3rd kalasha pooja should not do the 4th Kalasha pooja on 28th Jan.    So do the 3rd Kalasha Pooja on 12th March and 4th Kalasha Pooja on 14th March                                                                                                                                                   
3) People who have done only 1st Kalasha pooja can do all the 3 kalasha poojas at once on 12th March and 4th Kalasha Pooja   on 14th March
  4) People who have done 1st KP ,didn't do the 2nd KP(no red pogula daaram raksha kavach) but did the 3rd kalasha pooja , they can't do the 4th Kalasha pooja.

5) People who have not done any Kalasha Pooja's till now can do first 3 Kalasha Pooja's at once on 4th March and do the 4th Kalasha pooja on 14th March



Which day to do the kalasha pooja:
 On  28th Jan 2012 ,Saturday
    
At what time this pooja has to be done:
  Morning between  8:00am to 10:00am ONLY.

Who should do the kalasha pooja:

1) One Kalasha for all members of family.

2) If there is one member in the family and they have prob then you can go to the neighbour who does kalasha pooja and think that kalash as yours and pray.

3) Women who are having periods mustn't do this pooja.

4) Single person, couple, widow, widower, unmarried or old people anyone can do the pooja.

Raksha kavach for this kalasha pooja:

White colored kerchief or cloth which has triangled marked in it with turmeric and has 1 big tilak(kukum) in centre and 15 small tilaks(Kumkum) all around.You can check the video for more details HERE


What do we need to do for Kalasha pooja:

1) Kalasha can be of any material like ragi(bronze), steel , vendi(silver) or pottery

2) We need a White colored kerchief with triangle and tilaks as mentioned above.

3) Swasthik marked kerchief which we used in all kalasha poojas

4) Red thread of 11 pogulu(2nd Kalasha pooja raksha kavach)

5) We need the coin from 3rd Kalasha pooja

6) Coconut

7) Water to pour in kalasha(for fragnance add some Cardamom(elachi) in the water)


8) Get any flowers

Procedure to do the pooja:

1.  Take the ragi vessel or any material(kalasha).

2.  Pour some pure water into the kalasha and also add some Cardamom(elachi) for fragnance.

3.  Now place 5  mango leaves around the Kalasha.

4.  Now place a coconut on the Kalasha(place the head on the leaves not the v-shaped into water).

5.  Take a wooden plank or stand(peeta)

6.  Place any colour cloth on it.

7.  Pour some rice on the peeta.

8. Then place the swasthik marked white kerchief on the rice.

9. Place the White colored kerchief with triangle and tilaks(It should be little less in size of swathik marked white kerchief)

10. Now place  the kalasha on the both the white cloths.

11. Place the red coloured 11 pogulu(2nd Kalasha pooja raksha kavach) thread on the coconut as garland.

12. Keep the coin(3rd Kalasha pooja raksha Kavach) in front of the kalasha.

Activation of 4th Kalasha pooja's raksha kavach:  White colored kerchief or cloth which has triangled marked and 16 tilaks on it.

This raksha kavach( White colored triangle marked kerchief or cloth)must be activated on 30th Jan or 3rd Feb or 7th Feb or 17th Feb 2012.

The white kerchief(triangle marked raksha kavach) must be activated by showing it to Lord Ravi(Sun) between sunrise to 12:00pm afternoon and read the following names.

Kalasha Pooja Info and process:  

Arishta Graha sthithulu: Kalasha Pooja on 25th Oct

In Ashwayuja masam on13th,15th and Nov 13th to avoid effects of Bad planetory motion we have to do Kalsha Pooja.

Pancha graha Kutami in Kanya rashi

Effects will be on 18 Nakshatras is more than the rest of the nakshatras.

Kruthika, Uttara, Uttarashada, Pushyami, Anuradha, Uttarabhadra, Hastha, Chitta, Arudra, Swathi, Shatabhisha, Bharani, Pubbha, Pooravashada, Visakha, Jeshtha

13th Oct Arishta Graha sthithulu,15th and Nov 13th to avoid effects of Bad planetory motion

The effects of Arishta graha sthithulu(bad planetory situations) which occurs on 13th Oct will be on few nakshatras
Similarly the effects of Arishta graha sthithulu(bad planetory situations) which occurs on 15th Oct will be on few nakshatras and the effects of Arishta graha sthithulu(bad planetory situations) which occurs on 15th Nov will be on few nakshatras

The effect of the three Arishta Graha sthithulu will be for 43 days.

For this we need to do Kalasha pooja

Its starts on Oct 4th to Nov 15th.It precisely starts on Oct 4th 2011(Durgashtami) evening at 4:12pm
It started in Andhra Pradesh Janma Nakashtra which is Chitta nakshatra , Kanya rashi, continues in Tula and Vrushchika rashi. 5 planets are moving in these 3 rashis.One edge there is Shani in kanya, and the other edge there is Rahu in Tula rashi and in between there are Ravi, Shukra and Budha planets.

 Its starts on Oct 4th to Nov 15th.  

1st AGS is on 13th Oct 2011(Thursday) in kanya rashi occurs Ravi and Shani conjunction.Ravi is the one who runs the politics and Shani is the one who encourages politics.There is extreme enemity among Ravi and Shani.

 2nd AGS is on 15th Oct 2011(Saturday) Kuja being in neecha sthana in Karkataka rashi aspecting Rahu in Vrushchika rashi as per degrees. 
Doubt may arise:   Kuja is in Karkataka rashi and Rahu in Vrushchika rashi  .when we calculate it will be 5th place but Kuja has only 4th drishti.The truth is when u calculate precisely it will be on 15th Oct.

3rd AGS is on 13th Nov 2011(Sunday) occurs Shukra and Rahu conjunction.

To come out the effects of this AGS we must to Kalasha pooja

So we take the centre day of total 43 days leaving 21 days from either sides gives us 1 day which is 25th Oct 2011(Tuesday)

1st AGS conjunction of Ravi and shani in Kanya rashi.Ravi's nakshatra are 3 which are Uttara,Uttarashada and Kruthika.Shani nakshatras are 3 which are Pushyami, Anuradha and Uttarabhadra.Kanya rashi nakshatras are (Uttara, we already counted in Ravi's nak), Hastha and Chitta.So there are 8 nakshatras.
All these people take proper care in the way you think after this day.Nothing to worry but be careful.Don't give much attention to new thoughts.Be careful in financial transactions, while talking to others, expressing anger , jovial matters,  being alone and thinking as new ideas may sprout which you need not encourage at all till 16th Nov.

2nd AGS occurs when Kuja is aspects Rahu.  Kuja's nakshatra are 3 which are (Chitta,   we already counted in Ravi's nak )Dhanishta and Mrugasira.Rahu nakshatras are 3 which are Arudra, Swathi  and Shatabisha.so 5 nakshatras.
Anuradha, Jhestha and Visakha, Pushyami, Anuradha, Ashleysha, Jhestha, Revathi,Visakha, Punarvasu and Poorvabhadra.
All these nak people avoid fights and control your vach sthana(speech) and don't give promises.

3rd AGS conjunction of Shukra and Rahu in Vrushchika rashi.Shukra's nakshatra are 3 which are Bharani, Pubba and Poorvashada.The Conjunction takes place in Vrushchika rashi  are (Anuradha, we already counted in Shani's nak), Visakha and Jhestha.So there are 5 nakshatras.
People who are running Rahu antardasha in Shukra mahardasha , Shukra antardasha in Rahu mahardasha, people in software employers,Gold business people, Garments business people abd mobiles phone related business will come under this category.
So alltogether there are 18 nakshatras

The effects of AGS are not only seen on these above mentioned nakshatras.It will be on all 27 nakshatras directly or indirectly.But the above mentioned nakshatras will be more effect on them.

Everyone can do the kalasha pooja on 25th Oct 2011 to remove the bad effects and give good results.

 When we have to do the kalasha pooja:

As this kalasha pooja is done on 25th Oct 2011 which is  also Krishna Angaraka chathurdashi.So we should do it in the evening.Two more specials are also connected to this day which happened to be also Dhana trayodashi and Naraka chathurdashi.

Who should do the kalasha pooja:

1) One Kalasha for all members of family.

2) If there is one member in the family and they have prob then you can go to the neighbour who does kalasha pooja and think that kalash as yours and pray.

3) Women who are having periods mustn't do this pooja.

4) Single person, couple, widow, widower, unmarried or old people anyone can do the pooja.


At what time this pooja has to be done:

Between  5:00pm to 7:00pm ONLY. To be precise 1 hr before sunset and 1 hr after sunset.

What do we need to do for Kalasha pooja:

1) Wheat powder(pure) - 100gms
    Wheat is related to Sun.The day when we are doing the pooja is Tuesday.Adipathi for tuesday is Kuja.           Kuja and Surya are good friends.   This is for another Kalasha Pooja not for 25th Oct 2011(today) will
     be mentioned later       

2) One should fast untill the pooja is over.If you can't fast then take fruits.

3) After pooja, you can eat anything.

4) Person who does the Kalasha pooja can take rest.But avoid sleeping at all cost.

5) Should sleep after 11:00 pm only

4) Shanthi deepam: Don't use Nuvvula noone(sesame oil) at all.Use Coconut oil or Cow ghee(pure)  

5) Kalash can be of any material like ragi(bronze), steel , Vendi or Pottery

6) Swasthik marked white kerchief. People who have done the kalasha pooja earlier can use the same kerchief or can prepare new one also.People who are new to Kalasha  pooja can also prepare the swasthik marked kerchief.

7) Red thread (small) - cotton or polyester.11 pogulu(11 times of thread more than elbow  size) and tie a knot in middle and red cloth.See the video for more details.

8) Get Red Hibiscus or roses.If u cant get red coloured flower then use any flower but  sprinkle little kumkum on the flowers.No need to dip the flowers in red color.Just little sprinkling is enough.

After Kalasha pooja:

1) Coconut:use it for any dish preferably sweet on that day or the next day.

2) The water in Kalasha should be sprinkled on head and remaining water can be used to water tulasi or any other plant.

3) The cloth used for kalsha pooja(red) as shown in video can be stiched as blouse for anyone in the house.

4) And the rice used should be cooked as sweet and take as prasad but don't waste it or give last grains to    
    dogs. 

At what time we should to kalasha pooja: In India 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm on 25th Oct 2011

At what time we should to kalasha pooja for Laxmi pooja: Calculate time from Sunset to sunrise in minutes.Then divide it by 2.
You will get mid night nishidhi.Now add half an other before and after Nishidhi time.You'll get precise time for Laxmi Pooja.
